This episode had so much cute little kid pics! My favorite bits were Isaka close-ups and the kid pics.

Love this! While I found Asahina incredibly bland in this (does he actually have a personality in the manga?) I did like the little bits of rebellion that did pop up once and again.

Isaka close-up!! I've always loved the color of his eyes, but this episode had so many awesome close-ups of his face I ended up making tons of screencaps.

Cute shot!

Poor wounded Asahina! So cute!

Like an old married couple!!

Fangirls go!

I disliked the parallel between Ritsu and Isaka with this scene (obvious, much? I think we can see the differences between Ritsu and Isaka quite well without a point like this being made), but was still kind of amused by it.

Oooh, Isaka put-down go.

Young Usami! Want to pinch his cheeks!

Isaka angsts for the briefest period of time for his non-existent writing career after seeing Usami's shining talent.

He blushes! Asahina's only taking your temperature, my dear, in the most innocent way possible. XD;

Go Isaka attack!

That's right, you need to pin your man DOWN.

But you can't let him up and let him corner you! Not if he isn't going to defile you!

Isaka is...ALOOONEEEE...

ALOOONEEEE...

ALOONNEE!!!! (He only gets a slight passing nod! Though this scene disturbs me more because I assume the guy Asahina was following was Isaka's dad and there was NO acknowledgement at all there.)

ALOOOOONEEE!!!

Can you tell I was snickering through a lot of this?

Isaka ponders abusing his family connections to make things go his way.

WTF was he thinking at this point? Dunno, but it made me laugh.

And realizes he fails at life. "UZEE!! ORE UZEE!!" <--that cracked me up so badly.

This plant thing is SO LAME, but I do like this shot a lot. More ALLOOONEEE!! vibes here.

Ooh, Isaka's pissed off that Asahina hadn't told him about quitting the company. Even though he's effectively pushed Asahina away, he still ought to be kept in the loop on everything to do with Asahina, after all.

"Hi, I'm all wet because I want you to have your way with me." <--this is what he should've said.

He looks so young!

I like this clingyness. So cute!

Isaka blushes even more as he realizes they are both total dorks who didn't understand each other AT ALL (even though they apparently spent almost all day every day together?).

Isaka blames EVERYTHING (including all wars and the existence of annoying coworkers) on Asahina.

And Asahina takes responsibility for everything. Awwww...

The plant thing is a lot less lame when they are kids. So cute!

Especially with Asahina's adorable smile (with that poor useless looking bandage on his one cheek).

Like I mentioned earlier, I thought this story was horribly cliched. Rewatcing the episode to take screencaps, I was struck by how devoid of personality Asahina is. Isaka almost makes up for it, but not quite. I hope he's less of an android in the manga.

Yeah, Asahina was pretty dull, even in the manga. I liked taking a look at Isaka's background but other than that this episode was nothing but a sorta-interesting diversion from the main plot. I kinda liked that the uke threw the seme down for once.

Strangely, I found that I liked the second of the Hatori/Chiaki episodes better than this. It almost made me feel sorry for Yuu. Almost. Okay, not at all. But it gets points for trying really hard.

I actually just watched the last episode of season two yesterday (was saving it up). I really loves me some Takano! Ritsu had to practice the 'bitter' thing a lot to grow into his tsun personality, didn't he?

This seriously made me LOL. Almost makes me curious as to what happened (since I skipped those episodes)...

The last episode made me want more manga chapters, and another anime season after that. I love this couple! Ritsu was such an innocent, pure-hearted kid it's kind of mind-boggling...

Chiaki continues to act like an asshat for about an episode and a half, gets molest0red by Yuu (who gets punched for his trouble), and then is rescued by white-knight Hatori while Yuu breaks down because ZOMG HE AND CHIAKI ARE SOULMATES or something. I still don't get what is so fabulous about Chiaki that both of these guys are after his ass - maybe a complete inability to make rational decisions or realize the dead obvious is some sort of obscure moe point? Hatori and Yuu should become buddies, they seem to have the same masochistic taste.

I actually don't hate any of them, but watching their complete dumbassery can be kind of agitating.

At least Ritsu's dumbassery makes sense in a (cute) neurotic sort of way.

Man, I really love Takano/Ritsu. I want more manga so much... Kisa/Yukina is freakin' awesome, too (kind of hoping there will be another OVA with them this time - they could totally animate the new Yukina chapter).

Thanks for the summary, now I don't have to bother with the episode ever.

maybe a complete inability to make rational decisions or realize the dead obvious is some sort of obscure moe point?

I think it just may be one, it's so depressingly popular.

I actually don't hate any of them, but watching their complete dumbassery can be kind of agitating.

Though I may sound like I hate them, I mostly wish they'd go away and leave space for couples I care for.

At least Ritsu's dumbassery makes sense in a (cute) neurotic sort of way.

Can't disagree with you there.

they could totally animate the new Yukina chapter

Ooh, so there is a Yukina chapter. I really only get new chapters when a new volume comes out so I'm really behind. *sighs*

The Yukina chapter was offered on the LJ comm for the series. They had it up raw first, then scanlated (obviously, I went for the scanlated version).

If they translated this series to English, I would totally buy it all. Manga and anime. However, right now in order to understand it, I need to download it.

Not sure about this particular chapter but I typically see Chinese scans of the chapters, not Japanese raws. Sadly, I can't read Chinese. :P

Ah, maybe it was Chinese... Either way, I can only read the English scanlated version. XD

I think I like your screencaps and summary better than the actual episode. XD
